Limited Edition Wine Collection

We produced a limited edition wine collection of 500 bottles with exclusively designed packaging with German winemaker Thielen Wine (our co-founder Katja Thielen’s family vineyard). The idea behind our limited edition wine collection was to bring to life the true character of each wine:

Riesling Sekt: Irresistibly bubbly, brilliantly extrovert, and the life and soul of every party.

Weisser Burgunder: It’s perfectly laid back, rather charming and always an easy companion. Thoroughly welcome at any time of the day or night.

Riesling Dry: Larger than life, full of character and fabulously expressive!

We worked with Spanish illustrator Cabeza Patata to visually interpret the characters that represent each wine on labels and gift packaging. The characters are designed to easily split between the top and bottom half of their bodies. Inspired by character split books, we designed the outer gift packaging as a drum with all three character illustrations, and by turning the top lid that cuts between the top and bottom body parts, new character combinations can be created. This adds an element of fun and play to the gift boxes and consumers can make up their own favourite character.
