The finest watering cans
return to Chelsea
As part of our ongoing relationship with British-made watering can manufacturer, Haws, we were honoured to design their stand at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show. Having exhibited at one of the very early shows in 1930s, Haws return to Chelsea after 25 years away was a great opportunity to showcase their rebrand and speak to gardeners about their individual watering needs.
Haws, purveyors of the finest, hand-crafted watering cans, were established in 1886, the company is the world’s oldest manufacturer of watering cans, and proudly boasts 130 years of expertise, truly positioning itself as the leading authority on watering, and it now has watertight sustainability credentials too.
We’ve worked with Haws for the past several years, repositioning and rebranding the businesses and providing ongoing support for their wonderful team. The Design for the stand at Chelsea started with storytelling and a desire to bring the personalities and assets of each can to life. Real cans were interwoven with illustrations on the wall depicting
– The Warley Fall – for the professional gardener
– The Bearwood Brook – for the patio gardener
– The Rowley Ripple – for growing your own
– The Fazeley Flow – for the houseplant addict
The reaction to the stand was phenomenal and we were delighted that it won a coveted ‘Three Stars’ Chelsea Flower Show Award.
